Freelance Organizer Acquisition Specialist

  • Warsaw / Remote
  • Freelance
  • Flexible, no fixed hours

Commission-based compensation for successfully acquired organizers

About the role

We're building Spotco, a platform for group activities. Sports, walks, trips, board games, workshops, and many other things.

We're looking for someone who can help us reach people who already organize these kinds of activities, primarily in Warsaw, and encourage them to publish them on Spotco as well.

This is freelance, results-based work. There are no fixed working hours. You decide independently when, where, and how you carry out the work.

Apply

What does the job involve?

Your main goal will be to acquire organizers who actually start using Spotco and publish their activity.

You will independently find potential organizers through Facebook, Instagram, websites, local groups, and other publicly available sources, and then contact them on behalf of Spotco.

This is not about sending large numbers of identical messages. We want normal, personal, tailored communication.

In practice, you may:

  • find people and groups organizing activities,
  • contact them by phone, email, Facebook, Instagram, or other available channels,
  • briefly introduce Spotco and show organizers how it can help them,
  • answer basic questions,
  • follow up with people who showed interest but have not published anything yet,
  • help an organizer publish their first activity if needed,
  • build relationships with people who organize activities regularly,
  • share feedback with us about what works, what does not, and what comments come up most often,
  • where useful, attend selected activities to meet an organizer personally.

If participation in a specific activity requires a fee and we agree in advance that attending makes sense for organizer acquisition, Spotco may cover the cost.

Who are we looking for?

The most important thing is that you can independently reach people and communicate naturally.

This cooperation could be a good fit if you:

  • have very good Polish,
  • can communicate comfortably in English, both spoken and written,
  • are comfortable using Facebook and Instagram,
  • can independently identify potential organizers,
  • are comfortable starting conversations with new people,
  • can build relationships and follow up on conversations,
  • can write short, specific, personalized messages,
  • are comfortable with a working arrangement where compensation depends on results.

Experience in sales, business development, customer acquisition, community management, social media, customer service, or similar work is an advantage, but not required.

Compensation

This is a commission-only freelance role.

You are paid for every successfully acquired organizer who, as a result of your work, starts using Spotco and publishes their first genuine activity.

Additional commission may also be available for organizers who return after their first publication and publish further activities. The exact commission structure and amounts will be agreed before the cooperation begins.

We do not pay based on the number of messages sent, contacts collected, or registrations alone. What matters is an organizer who actually starts using Spotco.

The more organizers you successfully acquire, the more you earn.

Working arrangement

This is freelance cooperation, paid entirely on commission.

There are no fixed working hours and no requirement to work from a particular location. You independently decide when and where you carry out the work and how you organize your activities. The legal form of the cooperation will be agreed individually before starting.

Initially, we want to begin with a short cooperation period to see whether this model works well for both sides.

If the results are good, the cooperation can continue and expand. In the future, there may also be an opportunity for a more permanent role with Spotco in sales, growth, social media, or marketing.

About Spotco

Spotco is an app and website for group activities.

We help people find something to do with others, join an existing activity, or organize their own.

An organizer can quickly add an activity, and everyone who joins is added to a shared chat, making it easier to coordinate the details. For now, we're primarily focused on Warsaw, but activities from other Polish cities are also welcome.

How to apply

Complete the short application form below. We do not need a long cover letter or a lengthy application.

We mainly want to learn a little about you, your experience, and see how you would approach contacting a potential organizer. The interview will be conducted in English, so comfortable communication in English is required.
